Man, what an adventure this was. Back in May my friend Zack and I visited Iceland for two weeks– rented a camper van, drove the Ring Road, lived off of dry pasta and peanut butter sandwiches, all of that. And Iceland didn’t disappoint. The place is so varied for one big chunk of land that it’s insane. It’s so different from anything back home: it was like stepping on the moon. The thing about Iceland, however, is that it gets over 1,200,000 visitors a year– an especially impressive number when you consider the fact that the population is only around 330,000. Iceland is no secret. So, though you’ll watch what was my adventure, and how I saw everything, what I’ve got to show you isn’t really new at all.
Because I was not the first.

I added a couple of photos via my Instagram posts (@chehadeboulos) so you could get another sense of what it was like traveling around the Ring Road… so much variety. A full, high quality gallery can be seen on my website at trafalgarfilms.com/iceland/

We recently made a road trip from LA to Portland. I just wanted to see what I could create with my Sony RX100m4 and DJI Phantom 3 Standard along the way. I was mostly concentrated on photography and doing some behind the scenes type of videography on the side.
I was checking the footage today and thought it might be a good idea to make a short clip. So here we go…
I hope you like it!
